Eligibility Criteria:DMRC Recruitment Executive & NonExecutive Posts

For the executive levels, the minimum educational qualifications are typically a minimum 60% marks in BE/BTech in respective disciplines. Additionally, they need to have an average of two years of post-qualification experience. The applicants for the non-executive ranks must possess three -years Engineering Diploma in the respective trade in most cases.

Selection Procedure

The selection process includes a computer-based examination as follows:

  • For Non- Executive posts, the selection process includes a two-stage process – CBT (two papers), followed by Medical Examination in the prescribed medical standard.
  • For the posts of Customer Relations Asstt. there will be an additional stage, i.e., Psycho test (qualifying only)
  • For the posts of Stenographer, the selection methodology will comprise of a three-stage process – CBT (two papers), Skill Test (qualifying only) followed by Medical Examination
  • For the Maintainers posts (Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, and Fitter), the selection methodology consist of a two-stage process – CBT (One paper), followed by Medical Examination
  • Candidates will have to pass through each stage successfully, before being adjudged as suitable for selection.

Computer Based Test (CBT): The CBT will consist of two papers (Paper-I and Paper-II, to be held on the same day at the same centre).

There will be negative marking. For every wrong answer, 1 /3rd marks will be deducted. Final selection will be based on the candidates qualifying separately in Paper-I & Paper-II and rank high on the merit list., and passing the medical examination.

Application fee

Candidates must pay the application fee as per details below:

  1. Candidates belonging to UR, EWS & OBC (including Ex-servicemen) categories are required to pay a Non-refundable fee of ₹500/- (Five hundred only). Whereas, SC/ ST/ PwBD & Women candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹250/-( Two Hundred fifty only)
  2. The fee is non-refundable, so you should check with the notification to ascertain that you are eligible to apply for the post
  3. You can also apply for more than one post, by paying the fee for the additional posts

How to Apply: DMRC Recruitment

The application will be accepted through online mode only. So, visit the site (which will remain open from 23.12.2019 to 23.12020). Before applying, make sure that you are eligible for the post. Also, ensure that you have a valid email ID and mobile number. Because all future communication from DMRC will be through the electronic medium. (email & mobile phone)

First, register your name and other particulars asked for
On Successful Completion of registration, an application sequence No. and password will be generated
You will get the details through a message in your email /mobile
Using the ID and Password log in the page and fill up the application form. Fill up the application carefully and review it for correction and modification before submission. You must also upload the scanned copy of the following documents:

  • Recent passport size colour photo (maximum of 80 KB Size in JPEG/JPG format)
  • Your scanned signature (maximum of 80 KB Size in JPEG/JPG format)
  • Category/Caste certificate (OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwBD)-maximum 1 MB size, in JPG/JPEG format.
  • Date of birth proof document as per guidelines (Maximum 1 MB size, in JPG/JPEG format).
  • Qualifying marks certificate/Last Semester marks sheet (maximum 1 MB size, in JPG/JPEG format)

You must read the declaration and preview application form before submission. Take a print out of the application form. You are also required to make online payment of application fee. Pay it using net banking, debit card or credit card. After the successful transaction, a payment acknowledgement slip will be generated.
